Betta Fish
Just added a new piece of artwork to my portfolio – a sort of abstract watercolor of a betta fish. I really like the color palette of this one, and it was a lot of fun to do.

They look just like live bettas!
I wonder if you’re drawing ‘from the internal vision’ or do you have a tank with these tropical fish?
When I did this particular painting I did not have a fish. I used to have one in high school, and I’ve always loved them, so I did this one from memory. I do have two bettas now though.
