Butterflies in the Bay Area

Yet another reason that the Bay Area is awesome… I’ve always wanted to see the migration of the Monarch butterfly, so I was delighted to find out that there are several spots in the area where they stop and rest. We don’t have anywhere near the same numbers as central Mexico, but still a significant 3,000 to 100,000 (depending on where you go).
